Principal Investigator

Dr. Cindy McEvoy

Dr. McEvoy is the Credit Unions for Kids Professor of Pediatric Research and a neonatologist at OHSU. Her work focuses on early-life interventions to improve fetal lung development and childhood pulmonary health, particularly in the settings of prematurity, maternal nicotine exposure, and obesity. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano.

Research Project Manager

Kristin Milner

Hello! I'm Kristin. I am the Project Manager for Dr. McEvoy's lab. I have worked in clinical research for many years. This job allows me to utilize numerous aspects of my background including my asthma education work, pediatricians office experience, and time spent managing an independent clinical research facility. I love academic research, pediatric research and watching our study kids grow up! I am mama to two kids and some of my hobbies are pottery, reading, yoga and traveling.

Clinical Research Associate

Julie Brownsberger

Hello! I’m Julie, a Research Associate in Dr. McEvoy’s lab. I’ve spent most of my career working in both clinical and academic research, and this role has been the most rewarding. My background in psychology, medical studies, and health care aligns closely with our areas of study, and I value the opportunity to contribute to the scientific community while witnessing our study participants learn, change, and grow. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, getting outdoors, exploring artistic pursuits, and reading.

Julia Harris

Hi! My name is Julia and I'm a Research Associate in Dr. McEvoy's lab. I studied Biology in college while working at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN on pulmonary research studies. I'm so happy I made the move to the PNW about a decade ago and have the opportunity to keep working on clinical and data outcomes for our various studies. Outside of work, I enjoy nature, baking, and gaming on my Switch.
